Researchers have indicated that roughly 20% of all men will have to deal with a variety of issues. Some of the issues that they will deal with are completely isolated to the penis and pubic area. In many instances, this could be a problem associated with a STD or STI, but other times, it’s nothing more than a cosmetic issue. In that regard, you may deal with something that is known as pearly penile papules. This is something that is not going to hurt, but could disrupt you mentally, because it looks like something has really gone awry. Before you panic, or think that there’s something too seriously wrong, consider a few notes that will help you realize what exactly is going on, as it’s not going to be as bad as you may think.
Defining and Understanding PPP
Before you can get any further with what PPP is or how to deal with it, you need to know how to identify it. Not everything that you see on the penis is associated with pearly penile papules, mind you. You’ll need to understand what this is, and how it can change the complexion of your penis. The penis itself will have small bumps that grow above the dermis, and it’s going to only cover the head of the penis and the shaft at times. That’s it. This is not something that is going to occur in a lot of people, as it only happens within 20% of men overall. It is something that will be cosmetic in nature, and while some people do find this to be similar to some STD and STI solutions, it’s not the same.
Before you panic, or assume that you have something seriously wrong, understand that this is not that crazy. It’s something simple, and easy to work with. There will not be any puss, blood, itching, redness, or anything like that. While the raised bumps may look bad at first, they are tiny, and they will not get any bigger or cause much of a disruption in your life. It’s simply something that is not going to cause any major issue other than cosmetic.
Do Pearly Penile Papules Stretch Flat After A While?
In regard to what you should know about pearly penile papules, you should know that they do not stretch flat, and will not change in that way at all. Stopping PPP from getting worse is not difficult, because it’s honestly not going to get that way. They won’t spread, they won’t transfer, they aren’t sexually defined, and there’s not a whole lot that you have to deal with in this regard.
To get rid of pearly penile papules, you will need to look into topical solutions that you can apply directly to the bumps. Within a short span, you can get elements that will clean the area up. Things like aloe vera, toothpaste, and even apple cider vinegar can work well with this solution. It’s simply not a complex thing, and shouldn’t cause any major panic.
