There are a lot of men that will look at their penis and will find that there’s issues. The major issue that most men don’t know what to do with is simple, and it comes up with STI and STD starting points. The main problem is known as pearly penile papules. This is something that is sometimes abbreviated as PPP and comes up from the skin of the dermis. The dermis on the penis can have small raised bumps that come up. These are similar to many STD or STI issues. Many options come up with a small bump that gets worse over time. However, that’s something that is different than what will come through with pearly penile papules. The more you know about this, the better things will be, and you’ll be able to get moving forward with relative ease.
Focusing On PPP First Hand
The first thing that you should know is that you will need to identify the bumps and where they are. Unlike sexually transmitted diseases, you will need to look at where the bumps start to rise. The bumps that come up will be small, connected, and are flesh tone in color. Now, it’s imperative that you need to look to see if they are located anywhere else than the main points where PPP come through. Pearly penile papules come up on the underside of the penile head, and can come through the shaft. That’s it. They do not spread across the pubic mound, and will not turn into more than small raised bumps. They will be small raised bumps and that’s it.
What About STD or STI?
Men will assume that pearly penile papules are STD or STI connected, and that’s not the truth at all. These are different elements that are often times progressing with simple elements. When you have an STD or STI of any type a small amount of bumps may come up, however, the bumps are going to split, turn into lesions, or zits and will start to puss, and bleed. They are not the same as anything else that you will find to be true about PPP. PPP is something simple, and will not cause major issue, but if you have a sexually transmitted disease, you will need to watch what occurs. Sexually transmitted issues will get worse, and can spread, while PPP is cosmetic overall.
Getting Rid of PPP
The next thing that you should know is that you can get rid of pearly penile papules with relative ease. You can use topical solutions including benzoyl peroxide. This is a solution that you can topically place on the bumps and will help you remove things with relative ease.
However, this can take time to remove the issues. Now, in regard to removing things, you’re going to need to look into lotions, gels, and even prescription medications that will help you change things up a little. This is something that is simple to work with, and something that you can definitely work with if you use topical options. Benzoyl peroxide is not a bad thing to use, and can be applied topically twice a day.
