Can pearly penile papules be popped? What happens if you pop your PPP?

The skin of the penis can be somewhat sensitive in nature. One of the things that men can end up dealing with is that of pearly penile papules. This comes up on the head of the penis and on the shaft at times. It is a small amount of growths that cause many people to panic because it can appear to be a sexually transmitted disease. Before you panic, it’s not. This is not the same as an STI or STD or anything along those lines. Because they are in a sensitive area, you are going to end up causing a lot of stress on the skin and it’s going to hurt. There’s no two ways about this. If you try to pop pearly penile papules, it’s going to hurt, and the end result may not be what you think it will be.

What Happens if You Pop Your PPP?

Let’s assume that you push through the pain and you do manage to pop pearly penile papules, you will be aggravating the skin of the tissue and it’s going to hurt. You could end up causing serious damage to the penis, and cause sensitivity issues as well. This is not a good thing. It will hurt, mind you. It will cause pain, and there’s no guarantee that you will be able to pop the PPP to begin with.

It’s not recommended that anyone try to pop pearly penile papules. There’s no recourse that is going to help this, nor is it going to help you gain any traction at all. Do not do this. Instead, you will want to seek out medical attention or over the counter gels and creams. There are plenty of options that you can pursue to help you here. Do not let yourself lose sight of the fact that this can be assisted. Do not try to pop, scratch, or open up pearly penile papules.
