Teenagers, even virgins may have to deal with certain pubic region issues. For males, the issue becomes something of a panic, especially when the changes may resemble a sexually transmitted disease or illness. Most people don’t really know about this, because it doesn’t always come up in conversation, nor in sexual education. Now, the main issue here is that of PPP or pearly penile papules. This is one of the things that can effect the anatomy of men, and of course teenagers. Women and girls do not have to deal with this, and there’s nothing that can transfer this issue to them at all. You’re going to find that this is something that you will not have to worry too much about, as it is not going to cause a major disruption in everyday life.
What Exactly Is PPP?
The first thing to denote about pearly penile papules is that they are small, raised bumps that come up from the head of the penis and sometimes on the shaft. They are flesh tone or they are white, and they do not pop, puss, bleed, or get bigger. They also do not spread. You may find that they are mostly cosmetic in nature, and that’s something that most people will not know at first. There are some sexually transmitted diseases that start with raised bumps, mind you, but not all of them are going to be the same.
Now, in regard to pearly penile papules, you will find that the bumps are benign, and will not cause any damage to the dermal tissue at all. You will not have to worry too much about this, mind you, and you will not have to worry about whether it’s going to spread.
Dealing With PPP
In order to get rid of pearly penile papules, you first need to make sure that you have this. If you see that things start to puss, or bleed, you don’t have this, you have something else. If there’s no damage, there’s no harm, and you aren’t really in any discomfort due to this, then you will want to look into getting a bit of help. The easiest way to get rid of PPP is to look into over the counter, topical solutions. There are many options that you can pursue in this regard.
The first solution you may want to work with is that of apple cider vinegar. You can use this topically, placing a small amount on the bumps that you see. You can do this up to three times a day, and in a short span the bumps will go away.
Another option that you may want to consider is that of aloe vera. This is a powerful option that you can once again, use topically. Put this on the bumps at least twice a day, and in time they will go away. You can also use tea tree oil, or even antibiotic lotions to help with this. It’s not a difficult thing to manage, and in most cases, you will not need to see a doctor to get rid of pearly penile papules.
