There are a lot of skin problems that men will face off against in a lifetime. Most things are easy to work with. You can apply lotion to skin, and make sure that you put on sunblock and you’ll get a lot of different options working forward. However, what happens when the irritation or blemishes of skin occur in a private place? There are some individuals that will experience problems with their penis. In fact, 20% of men worldwide will have an issue known as pearly penile papules or PPP.
Before you panic, this is not something that is going to cause a great deal of danger. However, many men immediately think that it’s a problem or that it is due to a sexually transmitted disease. It’s not. There are a few things that you should know about this, and how to deal with it, especially if you want to get rid of the problem, and get back to normal function.
What Exactly Is PPP?
To understand pearly penile papules, you simply need to know that the skin of the penis can be quite sensitive. While it doesn’t hurt often, it could still have irritation, and could change the complexion. While most elements go away, you’ll find that PPP is not similar to other irritated tissue. You’ll find that under the penis, small connective tissue could form, and that may be shaped like small pearly elements that are skin toned or even white. They may appear as small as a spider web, and could be very tiny, but they are raised and look to be bumps.
You cannot simply ignore them and let them go away. However, you should not panic. These are not sexually transmitted, they are not going to bleed, will not cause much distress, and will not cause a great deal of issue at all. In fact, left alone, you may not even realize that they are still there, as they actually don’t do much more than provide a cosmetic issue in most cases. However, they are unsightly, and therefore you may want to get them removed outright. There are a few ways to go about this, including using tea tree oil.
Using Tea Tree Oil For PPP Removal
In order to use tea tree oil for the removal of pearly penile papules, you’ll need to apply it topically to the body. However, do not simply put the oil on the skin of the penis. This may be too strong. Instead, look for options that you can use to break it down a little. A good solution would be to use coconut oil with a little bit of tea tree oil infused in it. Another option is to look into tea tree oil infused creams and cleansers that you can topically apply to the penis.
After a few attempts to do this, you should see that the elements will go away. PPP doesn’t stay long after you clear it up with home remedies, including tea tree oil application.
